Scheduling to minimize the total compression and late costs

We consider a single-machine scheduling model in which the job processing times are controllable variables with linear costs. The objective is to minimize the sum of the cost incurred in compressing job processing times and the cost associated with the number of late jobs. The problem is shown to be NP-hard even when the due dates of all jobs are identical. We present a dynamic programming solution algorithm and a fully polynomial approximation scheme for the problem. Several efficient heuristics are proposed for solving the problem. Computational experiments demonstrate that the heuristics are capable of producing near-optimal solutions quickly. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Naval Research Logistics 45: 67–82, 1998     

基于遗传算法的观察所优化配置

文章研究了三维地形中的观察所优化配置问题,结合观察所实际情况,给出了利用遗传算法进行观察所优化的计算方法,并编制了计算机应用程序.计算机模拟实验表明,文中采用的算法能综合考虑多种因素,所得结果合理、准确,并且具有较高的效率.

“慎战”是孙子军事思想中层次最高的战争决策思想,其理论主要包括不战思想、重战思想、善战思想和善后思想。在以和平与发展为主题的时代,孙子的“慎战”思想启示我们：要牢固树立“兵者,国之大事”的观念,加强部队现代化建设步伐,制定正确决策,“先为不可胜”;要以“非危不战”为原则,遏制犯罪,维护稳定,努力创造和平稳定的社会环境;要依据“胜于无形”,认真处理国内民族及其他矛盾,保持和谐稳定的社会环境。     

Scheduling with centralized and decentralized batching policies in concurrent open shops

This article considers batch scheduling with centralized and decentralized decisions. The context of our study is concurrent open shop scheduling where the jobs are to be processed on a set of independent dedicated machines, which process designated operations of the jobs in batches. The batching policy across the machines can be centralized or decentralized. We study such scheduling problems with the objectives of minimizing the maximum lateness, weighted number of tardy jobs, and total weighted completion time, when the job sequence is determined in advance. We present polynomial time dynamic programming algorithms for some cases of these problems and pseudo‐polynomial time algorithms for some problems that are NP‐hard in the ordinary sense. © 2010 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 作战能力与作战效能评估方法研究

作战能力和作战效能是军事运筹学中既有联系又有区别的两个基础性概念。在实际研究中,这两个概念经常被混淆,导致评估方法选取不适当。本文首先阐述了作战能力和作战效能概念的定义,然后探讨了这两个概念的区别与联系,最后列举了常用的作战能力和作战效能评估方法,分析了各种方法的适用环境。在此基础上,可以根据不同的评估目的,选取不同的评估方法。     

双频圆极化小型微带天线的设计与实现

文章设计了一种新型的单馈点双频圆极化小型微带天线,该天线采用层叠结构实现双频工作,利用两个半径不同的圆形贴片实现双频谐振;通过在上下贴片不同的对角线方向上开对称的圆孔实现圆极化和小型化。对该天线进行了仿真优化,结果表明天线工作在1.575 GHz GPS频段和2.08 GHz UMTS频段,工作频带上轴比性能良好,相比于没有开孔的圆形贴片天线尺寸减小13%左右,且具有较好的波瓣宽度。最后实际加工了相应的贴片天线并进行了测试,实测结果验证了这种设计的可行性。     

Nonparametric bayesian lifetime data analysis using dirichlet process lognormal mixture model

We propose a nonparametric Bayesian lifetime data analysis method using the Dirichlet process mixture model with a lognormal kernel. A simulation‐based algorithm that implements the Gibbs sampling is developed to fit the Dirichlet process lognormal mixture (DPLNM) model using rightly censored failure time data. Five examples are used to illustrate the proposed method, and the DPLNM model is compared to the Dirichlet process Weibull mixture (DPWM) model. Results indicate that the DPLNM model is capable of estimating different lifetime distributions. The DPLNM model outperforms the DPWM model in all the examples, and the DPLNM model shows promising potential to be applied to analyze failure time data when an appropriate parametric model for the data cannot be specified. © 2013 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
