The Middle East is a crucial region for the global nonproliferation regime. In 2010, the state parties to the Treaty on the Non-Proliferation of Nuclear Weapons proposed a conference on a Middle East Weapons of Mass Destruction-Free Zone. The nuclear weapon-free zone model, on which this idea builds, has achieved important results in other regions, but faces especially stark challenges in the Middle East. However, the attempt to apply the boldly imaginative zone approach to the Middle East holds promise for building a more inclusive dialogue on nonproliferation and regional security. 相似文献

The damage effects of fluid-filled submunition payload impacted by the kinetic kill vehicle (KKV) are investigated by simulations and ground-based experiments. Numerical simulations showed that the damage level and number of submunitions were significantly influenced by the diameter of the KKV compared with its length. Based on that, a high velocity penetrator formed by shaped charge explosion was used to simulate the direct hit experiment of a KKV impacting submunition payload. Experimental results demonstrated that the damage modes of submunitions mainly included the slight damage, perforation and total smash, showing a good agreement with the simulations. To understand the multiple damage modes of submunitions, the damage behavior of the submunitions in direct hit process were analyzed based on the AUTODYN-3D code. Numerical results presented that increased KKV diameter can increase the crater diameter and expand the damage volume, which will achieve a higher direct hit lethality. Further analysis indicated that there were other mechanical behaviors can enhance the damage to submunitions not lying in the KKV flight path, such as secondary debris kill, neighboring submunitions collision with each other, and high-speed fluid injection effect. 相似文献

Long-rod penetration in a wide range of velocity means that the initial impact velocity varies in a range from tens of meters per second to several kilometers per second. The long rods maintain rigid state when the impact velocity is low, the nose of rod deforms and even is blunted when the velocity gets higher, and the nose erodes and fails to lead to the consumption of long projectile when the velocity is very high due to instantaneous high pressure. That is, from low velocity to high velocity, the projectile undergoes rigid rods, deforming non-erosive rods, and erosive rods. Because of the complicated changes of the projectile, no well-established theoretical model and numerical simulation have been used to study the transition zone. Based on the analysis of penetration behavior in the transition zone, a phenomenological model to describe target resistance and a formula to calculate penetration depth in transition zone are proposed, and a method to obtain the boundary velocity of transition zone is determined. A combined theoretical analysis model for three response regions is built by analyzing the characteristics in these regions. 超燃冲压发动机是吸气式高超声速飞行器的关键部件之一,超燃冲压发动机燃烧室内火焰结构的研究对揭示超声速燃烧的稳焰机理具有重要意义。利用平面激光诱导荧光(Planar Laser-Induced Fluorescence,PLIF)技术测量了超声速燃烧直连式试验台燃烧过程中重要自由基CH的二维分布,实现了超声速燃烧火焰放热区结构的可视化。在开敞空间的低速射流火焰炉中使用甲烷/空气预混火焰对CH-PLIF技术进行了初步验证和系统优化,再利用CH-PLIF技术在凹腔稳焰的超燃直连台上实现了超声速燃烧火焰放热区结构的二维可视化,并与OH-PLIF和CH自发辐射测量结果进行了对比。实验结果表明,在开敞空间的低速射流预混火焰中,火焰放热区会发生扭曲、褶皱和分裂等现象,随着雷诺数的增大,火焰锋面褶皱程度更加显著;在凹腔稳焰的超声速燃烧中,火焰放热区高度褶皱和破碎,放热区结构的厚度为0.5~6.5 mm,同时也存在放热区的分裂与剥离等现象。CH-PLIF技术能够以较高的空间分辨率更准确地呈现凹腔超声速火焰放热区的结构,其在凹腔稳焰的超声速燃烧诊断中具有重要的应用价值。 相似文献
