| Abstract: | A progressive method for calculating the righting arm in oblique seas is presented. The different ship wave relative position, ship heading angle and wave steepness are computed in order to investigate their influences on the pure loss of transverse stability of four vessels. Finally, the changing law of the righting arm is get. |
