| 摘 要： | “近代翻译法”或“译读法”是“翻译法”随着时代的发展 ,科学的进步 ,克服了自身的某些缺点 ,吸取了其他教学法的一些优点 ,发展形成的一种教授外国语的方法 ,一直被广泛地运用于非英语专业大学英语教学中。人们对其褒贬不一 ,因此我们有必要探讨它在大学英语教学中的作用以及它所固有的历史局限性
