| Abstract: | Based on the multi loop theory, this paper analyzes the stator EMF harmonics of synchronous generator under no load, with the field current harmonics taken into account. The formula of the stator low order harmonic EMFs under this condition is obtained, from which voltage harmonic content can be calculated accurately. As an example, the calculation for a typical machine is worked out at last. |
