A Computer Simulation of Radar Target Signal for Shipboard Fire Control Director

This paper reports the research on the computer simulation of radar target signal. It gives an analysis on the theoretical basis of data compression and restoration, and furthermore presents a new way to the simulation which divides the overall process into an off-line process and an on-line process. This is a great advantage to overcoming the conflicts between the complicated computation and real-time simulation. Finally, it presents a key-point transition method to the generation of target track. This method can facillitate the generation of complicated target track.
