Abstract:The characteristic of the surface and section of the severely fouled 00.2μm Al2O3 ceramic microfiltration membrane is analyzed by SEM.By a series of pilot cleaning experiments,a kind of efficient combined cleaning plan with four steps is presented.For step 1,it is to rinse the fouled membrane by purified water.Step 2 is to clean the fouled membrane with direct circulation by the mixed solution(weight fraction 1%) of NaOH and NaClO.The third step with citric acid(weight fraction 1%) and the fourth step with chlorine dioxide solution(weight fraction 0.12%) are applied in a similar way with step 2.The results indicate that the cleaning effect is obvious,and the 4-step cleaning procedure can almost recover original membrane flux.
