| Abstract: | The finite-time thermodynamic performance of an irreversible closed gas turbine cycle with constant temperature reservoirs is studied in this paper.The relation between power output and efficiency of the cycle is derived,and it involves the optimal performance characteristics of an endoreversible cycle and an ideal heat-transfer cycle. |
