维吾尔史诗《福乐智慧》及其数学思想解读

An Interpretation of Uygur Epic "Happiness and Wisdom" and Its Mathematical Thoughts

Happiness and Wisdom is an Encyclopedia of the social life of ancient Uighurs. It is concerned with philoso- phy, politics, law, military, affairs, ethics, religion, astronomy, mathematics and other fields, and its mathematics and mathe- matical education thoughts are more abundant. Happiness and Wisdom explores what is mathematics ,why should mathemat- ics he learned,what to learn, how to learn, and the effcets of mathematics in human life. The mathematical content in Happi- ness and Wisdom includs arithmetic, geometry, trigonometry, algebra, especially with particular reference to Euclid~ Geome- try Elements. It has important meaning to summarize mathematicaleducation thoughts in this epic to criticize and inherit the outstanding cahural achievements of the Chinese nation, and to let people of other ethnic groups and even the world objec- tively and comprehensively understand the development history of ancient Uyghur mathematics, and to fill a gap of reasearch history of t}~e development of mathematics in China Central Asia.
