| Abstract: | Thresholding is an important form of image segmentation and is used in the image processing for many applications.A new algorithm of thresholding segmentation based on automatic thresholding selection and edge detection is proposed .The results of experiment prove that the proposed algorithm can avoid the oversegmentation phenomenon and achieve the satisfactory effect. |
