Abstract:The development of power electronics promotes an advance of industry and life, but also produces some side effects-harmonic pollution. This paper applies the view of dialectics to discuss the development and its effects, and recognizes that the conversion of excellent waveform is the only method in reducing harmonic pollution and further developing power electronics. According to the above, the significance in conversion of excellent waveform is clarified.
