| Abstract: | This article discusses the necessity and possibilities of auto gear shift in steering of caterpillar vehicals, introduces the auto gear shift control system of a caterpillar vehicle with a two-stage planetary steering mechanism and its test run conditions, and discusses the control methods of auto gear shift with double current steering mechanism adopted . |
