| Abstract: | This paper derives the relations between optimal rate of profit and coefficient of performance of a three--heat--source heat pump with heat--transfer laws of qccd(T) and qest(T-- I ).The performance bounds at maximum rate of profit are derived also. The results obtainedhere can provide some theoretical bases for the design optimization of real heat pumps. |
