| 摘 要： | 针对标准化信息距离（Normalized Information Distance，NID）在图像检索（Image Retrieval，IR）应用中的优势和不足，结合图像的显著图，给出了一种改进的基于NID的IR算法，并进行了仿真实验。结果表明：改进算法的检索性能有了较好的改善。

| Abstract: | An improved image retrieval algorithm based on the normalized information distance is introduced in view of the superiority and difficulty of the normalized information distance. In combination with the saliency map the simulation experiment is conducted, and a better retrieval results were achieved. |
