摘    要:静电放电(ESD)会对电子设备和系统造成严重干扰,但是在相同的放电电压下,ESD强度却会发生很大的变化。这种变化与电极接近速度、相对湿度和电弧长度等因素有关。为提高ESD实验结果的重复性,通过理论分析和实验研究了电极接近速度和相对湿度对ESD强度的影响。理论计算了两接近导体之间的自(互)电容系数、导体电势差、导体电势差随放电间隙和时间的变化率;实验研究了ESD强度(比如放电电流峰值、上升时间)随接近速度和相对湿度的变化关系。研究得出,接近速度直接决定了导体电势差随时间的变化率,同时对ESD强度产生明显影响;相对湿度会对ESD强度产生很大的影响。

Abstract:Electrostatic discharge(ESD) may be a serious threat to electronic devices and systems.The intensity of ESD can vary strongly in spite of constant discharge voltage.In order to improve the repeatability of ESD,the influence of approaching speed and relative humidity on the intensity of ESD were researched by theoretical analysis and experimental measurement.The self-capacitance(mutual-capacitance) coefficient,the potential difference and the rate of change of the potential difference with discharge gap and time for two approaching conductors were calculated.The relationship between the intensity of ESD(e.g.peak current and rise time) and the approaching speed and the relative humidity were studied.It was concluded that not only the rate of the potential difference with time but also the intensity of ESD were determined by the approaching speed.The relative humidity also would cause a significant effect on the intensity of ESD.
