| Abstract: | In this paper, the factors that affect the selection of profile-shifting coefficient of common gear are analysized, and the fundamental principle for the coefficient selectio'n is presented, the optimization models are set up, and the corresponding programis made. At last, several examples are calculated with the program, which demonstrates that the results and efficiency are prior to the table scanning method. |
