Disposition Method of Aircraft Carrier Formation Based on Coordination

The disposition of aircraft carrier formation is a basic problem in the operations and is affected by many factors. It is studied from the point of view on the operational coordination in the paper. The coordination of space is embodied in the disposition of aircraft carrier formation and is divided into four categories: coordination of gradation, coordination of sea space, coordination of airspace, coordination of direction, coordination of altitude. Under the basic mode of operations, anti-air warfare, anti-ship warfare, anti-submarine warfare, coast warfare, the disposition affected by coordination was explored and the relevant principle is put forward. The train of thought is provided as reference for the disposition of aircraft carrier formation.
