Research and Application of Real-Large Land Scene Based on Terra Vista

Real-Large land Scene visualization plays an important role in a lot of virtual simulation systems. To solve mutual restrictive problem between the fidelity and fluentness of large land scene, this paper introduces a real-large land scene design scheme based on Terra Vista for virtual simulation. In the paper the selection and production flow of terrain data, texture data and model data are expatiated. The implement of methods are explicated for round earth marine visualization. Examples verify that the design method of real-large land scene simulation is effective based on Terra Vista.
