谈提高边防检查人员外语应用能力的途径

边防检查人员学好外语、用好外语，既是树立良好国门形象的需要，也是打击涉外违法犯罪活动的必然要求。对当前边防检查人员应用外语开展工作的现状进行了分析，并结合工作实践，提出创造语言环境、关注时事新闻、注重实践运用、重点选择语种以及坚持落实等提高检查人员外语应用能力的途径。

On the Approaches of Improving the Border officials'Foreign Language Ability

Border officers learning a foreign language well and making a good image of the country＇ s guards, but also good use of it are not only the needs of setting requirements of fighting against foreign -related criminal activities. In order to improve the language abilities of the border officials, the author discusses the status of foreign languages in border controls, combined with creating the language learning atmosphere, strengthening on practice, learning new knowledge, choosing the useful language and persisting in the implementation of language learning.
