Current situation and development trend of military equipment maintenance reform in USA

In recent years, in order to adapt to the needs of the development of high-tech weaponry and the challenge of military transformation, the United States armed forces have carried out a series of deep reform in the field of equipment maintenance.This paper focuses on the analysis of the current situation of the reform from 4 aspects: maintenance thought, maintenance technology, maintenance means and maintenance system.It also explains the motivation, content, effect and development trend of these reforms.Research shows that us milifary equipment maintenance reform leads to the new advantage of us military equipment maintenance logistics under the informatization.
