| Abstract: | Beginning with the background of engineering applications and the research characteristics of the dynamic plastic response of structures, this article outlines recent developments in the topic and predicts the theoretical research of future. At first, this article summarizes the research methods of dynamic plastic response of structures from theory and experiment, and reviews the character of dynamic plastic response of naval structures subjected to impact loading including beams, plates, stiffened plates and cylindrical shell. |
