| Abstract: | Intensive reading plays an extremely important part in College English,teaching. It is the basis of other English courses. As far as the promotion of teaching quality is concerned,it is necessary to survey and improve teaching methods for intensive reading, such as bringing into full play the role of both teachers and students, practising discourse analysis, adopting bilingual education and encouraging students to recite some useful contents. All those will no doubt benefit the improvement of the quality of College English intensive reading. |
