| Abstract: | The harm to service life of engines and ship performances, caused by the inconsistency between the revolution of engines in a ship fitted with more than one engine, is analyzed quantitatively. Based on the analysis, an improvement on revolution measurement, as well as the points for attention in engine operation, is given. |
