| Abstract: | Based onthe classical elasticity theory, an exact analytic expression of displacementsis derived for a cylindrical rubber bush subjected to radial loading in terms of Euler equations. In the deve-(lopment )of formulas, the assumption of incompressibility is not adopted. By comparison with the results of finite-element analyses, it is showed that the solutionis correct. |
