| Abstract: | In this paper the intact stability of simplied theoretical vessel is analyzed. The formulation for the large angle of heeling stability is presented. The stability formulation of the damaged vessel is also presented. The stability of negative metacentric height vessel is discussed. Besides, the calculating method of stability of negative metacentric height vessel and the reason why negative metacentric height comes out are also discussed. At last the stability curve of a ship is plotted by this method. |
