Research on Procedures and Contents of Posterior Environmental Impact Assessment

Posterior Environmental Impact Assessment (PEIA) is a branch of En vironmental Impact Assessment (EIA) . and an effectwe action of examining actual environmental impact and mitigating measures after the conduction of conventional EIA .The main working contents of PEIA are environmental monitoring ,examination and assessment , environmental management ,and other environmental researches. It not only verifies the predicting models used in the original EIA process and the correctness of results , but also makes important supplements a nd modifications to original working contents, and furthermore proposed more rea sonable and practical environmental protecting measures and countermeasures .
