Linguistics and Speech Technology in Modern Military Intelligence Processing Approaches

To gather, process and analyze military intelligence is an important task of intelligence department. In present situation, it's impossible to do this work manually, and the effective way is advanced computer information processing technology. Most intelligence is text or speech, so natural language and speech processing technology plays a key role in intelligence domain. Aiming at military intelligence processing approaches, this paper introduces some linguistics and speech technology including machine translation, information retrieval, speech analysis, speech recognition, etc.
