| Abstract: | In this paper, a simple method for calculation of electromagnetic field due to horizontal current element is proposed based on the typical Summerfield Hertz vector. In semi-infinite space of seawater, the electromagnetic field expressions of horizontal DC current element located in air half-space and seawater half-space respectively are derived. It is proved to be correct with the J. R. Wait, P. R. Bannister, and R. L, Dube results, the expressions are proved to be correct. |
