Optimal Guaranteed Cost Control Algorithm for Automatic Chain Shell Magazine

The automatic chain shell magazine is the primary subassembly of the automatic ammunition loading system of a big-caliber howitzer. Due to the change of the shell amount in the magazine during firing, its positioning control is a kind of control problem of systems with uncertain parameters. In order to realize accurate control of shell position, an optimal guaranteed cost control algorithm based on linear matrix inequality (LMI) theory was put forward. The motion equations of the magazine were built, and the motion equations for four special load situations were linearized; according to the basic theory of the guaranteed cost control, the motion equations were written as the standard forms for linear uncertain systems; the optimal guaranteed cost control law for the position control of the magazine was obtained by use of LMI toolbox in MATLAB package. Using this control law, the controlled dynamic simulation of the shell magazine was carried out. The simulation results indicate that the control algorithm has high control precision.     

军械仓库的物资发放研究

Opportunistic retooling of a flexible machine subject to failure

A set of jobs can be processed without interruption by a flexible machine only if the set of tools required by all jobs can be loaded in the tool magazine. However, in practice the total number of tools required by a job set would exceed the tool magazine capacity. In such situations, the job set has to be carefully partitioned at the start of the production run such that each partition can be processed without interruption. During the production run, if there are unscheduled machine downtimes due to machine failure, this provides an additional opportunity to optimally retool the magazine for a smaller job set consisting of just the unprocessed jobs. In this paper, we study job sequencing rules that allow us to minimize the total expected cost of machine down time due to machine failures and magazine retooling, assuming a dynamic re‐sequencing of the unprocessed jobs after each machine failure. Using these rules, we develop a branch‐and‐bound heuristic that allows us to solve problems of reasonable size. © 2001 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. Naval Research Logistics 48: 79–97, 2001

新疆高校体育教师风险管理认知研究

本研究以对新疆地区高校体育教师教学风险管理为研究内容,从高校体育教师对风险管理的认知角度进行分析,了解新疆地区高校体育教师对意外伤害风险管理的认知程度,以期发掘受到忽视的意外伤害危险因素,从而找到规避体育教学风险的捷径,更好地服务于体育教学。     

旋转弹仓的鲁棒控制器设计

利用满意控制的理论,给出了一种满足期望性能指标的旋转弹仓控制器设计方法.利用系统本身的积分器,保证了静态时无余差.使用Lyapunov矩阵不等式,通过状态反馈,配置系统闭环极点于指定圆形区域而使闭环系统具有较好的动态品质.MATLAB/NCD工具箱进一步局部寻优,得到在饱和特性下,控制系统多种指标的同时满足某型号旋转弹仓的数值算例,证明了该方法的有效性.     

基于SD的弹药供应链系统稳定性分析

为了研究弹药供应链系统的稳定性,基于弹药供应链系统的组成进行分析,采用系统动力学方法建立了二阶弹药供应链系统的稳定性模型,并利用系统动力学专用软件Vensim对该模型进行数学建模与仿真实验,得到系统稳定、出现震荡及溢出现象时相关参数的取值范围。仿真结果表明：影响弹药供应链系统稳定性的因素是弹药库订货决策的参数,与外部需求无关。     

The Maudslay Connection,the Reid Bequest and Forsyth’s Early Percussion Ignition Systems

Abstract

Neal and Back identify that, in 1808, Maudsley, of 78 Margaret Street, was appointed Primer Magazine Maker to the Forsyth Patent Gun Company. Blackmore confirms in a short entry in A Dictionary of London Gunmakers that Henry Maudslay/Maudsley supplied the company with magazine primers. Henry Maudslay was the most influential mechanical engineer of his generation and his factory formed the nursery for many later engineering greats. This connection between Alexander Forsyth and his new company with Maudslay and his company is therefore significant. Determining how these two giants may have interacted and how Maudslay may have influenced the design and manufacture of the new percussion ignition systems is of interest. This interest is increased when we read that Forsyth observes in one of his letters to James Brougham, the day-to-day manager of the business, that ‘Maudsley’s account is most unreasonable in every respect’. In order to understand where Maudslay may have influenced the design and the detail of their manufacture, it is necessary to examine the early evolution of Forsyth’s percussion ignition devices. These are primarily those of the Reid Bequest of 1929 held in the Royal Armouries and those collected by Colonel Colt. As it has been two hundred years since their original creation this requires careful object study to establish the chronology of the objects and obtain an insight into the relationship between Forsyth and Maudslay and their innovations.
