本文证明了逆合成孔径雷达成象与大阵列微波成象在信号处理方面的等效性,提出利用自适应波束形成技术来实现逆合成孔径雷达成象的运动补偿,给出了计算机模拟一维成象图,并对结果进行了分析。

Study on energy release characteristics of reactive material casings under explosive loading

Reactive Materials (RMs), a new material with structural and energy release characteristics under shock-induced chemical reactions, are promising in extensive applications in national defense and military fields. They can increase the lethality of warheads due to their dual functionality. This paper focuses on the energy release characteristics of RM casings prepared by alloy melting and casting process under explosive loading. Explosion experiments of RM and conventional 2A12 aluminum alloy casings were conducted in free field to capture the explosive fireballs, temperature distribution, peak overpressure of the air shock wave and the fracture morphology of fragments of reactive material (RM) warhead casings by using high-speed camera, infrared thermal imager temperature and peak overpressure testing and scanning electron microscope. Results showed that an increase of both the fireball temperature and air shock wave were observed in all RM casings compared to conventional 2A12 aluminum ally casings. The RM casings can improve the peak overpressure of the air shock wave under explosion loading, though the results are different with different charge ratios. According to the energy release characteristics of the RM, increasing the thickness of RM casings will increase the peak overpressure of the near-field air shock wave, while reducing the thickness will increase the peak overpressure of the far-field air shock wave.

‘What is in a Name?’: The Role of (Different) Identities in the Multiple Proxy Wars in Syria

Abstract

Post-uprisings Middle East politics is frequently described as a ‘regional cold war’ involving proxy warfare that emphasises the role of shared identities linking external and local actors. But does the ‘content’ of identities impact proxy war dynamics? This article considers the present ‘battle for Syria’, a local conflict that became a theatre for multiple proxy wars involving actors emphasising identities on various levels, most notably national, religious/ sect and ethnic. It suggests that identity content does matter, with global powers more reluctant than regional players to back groups identifying at sub-national level, while foreign non-state actors are enthusiastic backers of sub-national identity.     

Solving time/cost trade-off problems with discounted cash flows using generalized benders decomposition

In this article we consider a project scheduling problem where there are cash flows throughout the life of the project and where shorter activity durations can be attained by incurring greater direct costs. In particular, the objective of this problem is to determine the activity durations and a schedule of activity start times so that the net present value of cash flows is maximized. We formulate this problem as a mixed-integer nonlinear program which is amenable to solution using the generalized Benders decomposition technique developed by Geoffrion. We test the algorithm on 140 project scheduling problems, the largest of which contains 30 nodes and 64 activities. Our computational results are quite encouraging inasmuch as 123 of the 140 problems require less than 1 CPU second of solution time. © 1993 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.

在武器装备采办中对竞争与单一来源的选择应分析竞争的可行性与合意性。引入竞争必须要满足一些基本的必要条件,只有这样才会使竞争具有可行性。引入竞争还要分析竞争的合意性,即竞争是否值得,而这种合意与否的判断是建立在竞争的成本一收益分析基础之上的。只有同时满足“竞争可行”与“竞争合意”两个条件,武器装备采办才适宜引入竞争,否则应保持单一来源。
