Sequencing with setup time and order tardiness trade-offs

We consider the problem of scheduling customer orders on a single facility where each order consists of several jobs that can be clustered into several groups. When a facility is changed over to another group, a setup time associated with the new group is required. Two particular problems are considered in this context. One is to consider the total setup time and the number of tardy orders jointly. The other is to consider the total setup time and the maximum tardiness jointly. The total setup time in both problems represents a measure of internal efficiency, whereas the number of tardy orders and the maximum tardiness represent a measure of external efficiency. In any shop, the decision maker must consider the tradeoffs between large setup costs associated with a more frequent changeover schedule versus the cost of tardy orders that might be induced by a less-frequent changeover schedule. In this article branch-and-bound algorithms are proposed to identify the set of nondominated schedules for the two bicriteria problems. © 1996 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.

本文建立了一套系统解决单艇用多鱼雷攻击多目标的可攻击判据和求解对应优化占位参数的方法。本文的研究中采用了独特的分析坐标系,这样在解决和建立可攻击判据的问题上,不仅避免了繁杂的数值计算,还给出了完备的解析解形式及系统化的概念。所得结论对发展现代潜艇鱼雷攻击战术和实现作战决策科学化具有一定的学术价值和实用意义。

Optimal design of accelerated life testing plans for periodical replacement with penalty

Accelerated life testing (ALT), enhanced by optimal test plans, has been widely accepted in practice as a quick approach for estimating the reliability of a product. From the estimation result, preventive maintenance schedules can be determined to ensure the performance of the product under its normal operating conditions. By default, maintenance decision‐making is regarded as the last and least rewarding step. However, sometimes the maintenance schedules, such as preventive maintenance intervals, are predetermined due to customer concerns and/or by various mandatory regulations and rules. Under such circumstances, how to accurately estimate the expenditure (e.g., on maintenance or spare parts management) associated with these maintenance requirements becomes an important issue. A viable solution is to incorporate the maintenance requirements into ALT plans. This paper provides an approach for the optimal design of ALT plans oriented by a mandatory periodical replacement schedule subject to a discounted penalty. The objective is to improve the estimation accuracy of the economic impact of this maintenance requirement. Performances and direct writing of CL-20 based ultraviolet curing explosive ink

A new type of explosive ink formulation that can be quickly cured was prepared with unsaturated polyester as binder,styrene as active monomer,2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyl-diphenylphosphine oxide as photoinitiator,and hexanitrohexaazaisowurtzitane (CL-20) as the main explosive.Then the explosive ink direct writing technology was used to charge the micro-sized energetic devices,the curing mechanism of the explosive ink was discussed,and the microstructure,safety performance and explosive transfer performance of the explosive ink molded samples were tested and analyzed.Results indicate that the composite material has a fast curing molding speed,its hardness can reach 2H within 8 min.The crystal form of CL-20 in the molded sample is still ε type.The CL-20 based W-curing explosive ink formulation has good compatibility,its apparent activation energy is increased by about 3.5 kJ/mol.The composite presents a significant reduction in impact sensitivity and its characteristic drop height can reach 39.8 cm,which is about 3 times higher than the raw material.When the line width of charge is 1.0 mm,the critical thickness of the explosion can reach 0.015 mm,and the explosion velocity is 7129 m/s when the charge density is 1.612 g/cm3.
