Dynamic pricing in a dual‐market environment

This article is concerned with the determination of pricing strategies for a firm that in each period of a finite horizon receives replenishment quantities of a single product which it sells in two markets, for example, a long‐distance market and an on‐site market. The key difference between the two markets is that the long‐distance market provides for a one period delay in demand fulfillment. In contrast, on‐site orders must be filled immediately as the customer is at the physical on‐site location. We model the demands in consecutive periods as independent random variables and their distributions depend on the item's price in accordance with two general stochastic demand functions: additive or multiplicative. The firm uses a single pool of inventory to fulfill demands from both markets. We investigate properties of the structure of the dynamic pricing strategy that maximizes the total expected discounted profit over the finite time horizon, under fixed or controlled replenishment conditions. 抗战时期蒋介石与知识青年从军运动

抗战之初,国民政府贯彻蒋介石的"战时须作平时看"教育方针,并未大规模地征集知识青年从军参战。抗战后期受形势所迫,蒋介石遂发起规模浩大的知识青年从军运动。推动蒋介石改变初衷的原因为:向军队补充高素质人才,重树民众对政府信心,整顿国民党的组织;积蓄力量准备内战等。运动一定程度上达到了蒋介石所预想的效果。     

小型堆不可隔离小破口事故下的舱室放射性活度可视化

以某小型压水堆为研究对象,运用MELCOR程序建立事故分析模型,研究了不可隔离小破口合并全船断电始发严重事故下舱室放射性活度变化规律。结果表明:不可隔离小破口事故下,倘若安全设施失效,将导致堆芯熔化;堆舱放射性活度比其相邻舱室高4个量级。在此基础上,开发了小型堆典型严重事故下辐射场可视化系统,可为舱室剂量评估和核应急决策提供支持。     

区域物资动员潜力的多元统计分析

为分析不同区域物资动员潜力差异,并对其进行分类,从总体实力和产值结构两方面出发,建立了区域物资动员潜力指标体系。以我国行政区域为研究样本,通过SPSS18软件,结合年度统计数据进行分析。采用主成分分析法对方案层指标进行简化,将形成的综合得分标准化并分析主成分上的载荷,然后采用层次分析法得到总体实力得分。再将研究对象按照总体实力与产值结构进行ward聚类分析,得到6个区域类别,分析其特点,提出动员建议。     

基于多源数据融合的GEO目标轨道改进分析

以美国新一代天基监视卫星SBSS为例,构建了天地联合方式观测GEO目标的观测模型。同时作为对比,介绍了传统地基雷达的距离测量模型;提出了将天地联合测量数据与传统地基测距数据融合,利用扩展卡尔曼滤波(extended Kalman filter,EKF)对GEO目标进行轨道改进的方法。仿真结果表明,利用2种不同方式的观测数据对GEO目标轨道进行改进,得到的定轨误差效果好于只有一种测量数据的结果。     

Efficient algorithms for flexible job shop scheduling with parallel machines

Job shop scheduling with a bank of machines in parallel is important from both theoretical and practical points of view. Herein we focus on the scheduling problem of minimizing the makespan in a flexible two-center job shop. The first center consists of one machine and the second has k parallel machines. An easy-to-perform approximate algorithm for minimizing the makespan with one-unit-time operations in the first center and k-unit-time operations in the second center is proposed. The algorithm has the absolute worst-case error bound of k − 1 , and thus for k = 1 it is optimal. Importantly, it runs in linear time and its error bound is independent of the number of jobs to be processed. Moreover, the algorithm can be modified to give an optimal schedule for k = 2 .
