Primal dual algorithms for the vehicle refueling problem

Mehrez, Stern, and Ronen have defined a vehicle refueling problem in which a fleet of vehicles travels on a round-trip, self-contained mission from a common origin, with the objective of maximizing the operational range of the fleet. They have defined a “pure refueling chain” strategy for transferring fuel between vehicles in the fleet, and have solved the problem in the special cases when all vehicles have the same fuel capacity or consumption rate. In this article we present algorithms for the general case, where vehicles have different capacities and consumption rates. Our approach is based on a new primal dual formulation of the problem. The exact algorithm was effective to find the optimal solution for a fleet size n ⩽13. For larger fleets, we present an approximation version of it, which very quickly found a solution within 1% of the maximum possible range for arbitrarily large (up to n = 200) fleets. We also show that a small number of the best vehicles can always reach almost the same range as a large fleet. © 1992 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.

国民经济动员潜力的多元统计分析

选取了国民经济动员潜力的14个总指标进行因子分析,计算出各地区因子得分,并据此对各地区进行单项和综合因子排名,然后用聚类分析法将综合因子进行聚类,得出各地区潜力情况及分类,并就地区潜力进行了分析。     

极化域-空域联合估计在反辐射导弹抗诱偏中的应用研究

提出了将极化阵列应用到反辐射导引头上,导引头利用目标与诱饵的极化差异,采用极化域-空域联合估计方法抗诱偏。首先,利用波达方向矩阵法,估算出雷达与诱饵的空间二维到达角和极化参数,将估算出来的二维到达角信息为反辐射导引头提供导引,极化参数用来鉴别雷达与诱饵,从而达到抗诱偏的目的。然后,结合导弹运动方程及导引方程对反辐射导弹抗三点源诱偏进行了全弹道数字仿真,并且采用Monte-Carlo方法对全弹道仿真进行了多次实验,仿真结果证明了将极化域-空域联合估计应用于反辐射导引头抗诱偏的可行性。     

电扫偶极子相控阵天线的空域极化特性分析

推导了偶极子线性阵列和平面相控阵天线在空域波束电扫时辐射场的极化特性,建立了数学模型。计算结果和仿真分析表明:偶极子相控阵天线辐射场在空域扫描各个波位的极化特性并不一致,是具有一定差异的,当待测目标的方向偏离天线电轴方向时,所接收到的电波极化状态也会随偏离电轴的方向和仰角而改变。该结论对于现代电子战中相控阵天线系统的精确建模与仿真具有重要意义,对于研究和利用天线的极化特性进行雷达极化抗干扰技术是非常必要的。     

On the exponentially weighted moving variance

MacGregor and Harris (J Quality Technol 25 (1993) 106–118) proposed the exponentially weighted mean squared deviation (EWMS) and the exponentially weighted moving variance (EWMV) charts as ways of monitoring process variability. These two charts are particularly useful for individual observations where no estimate of variability is available from replicates. However, the control charts derived by using the approximate distributions of the EWMS and EWMV statistics are difficult to interpret in terms of the average run length (ARL). Furthermore, both control charting schemes are biased procedures. In this article, we propose two new control charts by applying a normal approximation to the distributions of the logarithms of the weighted sum of chi squared random variables, which are respectively functions of the EWMS and EWMV statistics. These new control charts are easy to interpret in terms of the ARL. On the basis of the simulation studies, we demonstrate that the proposed charts are superior to the EWMS and EWMV charts and they both are nearly unbiased for the commonly used smoothing constants. We also compare the performance of the proposed charts with that of the change point (CP) CUSUM chart of Acosta‐Mejia (1995). The design of the proposed control charts is discussed.
