The Two Techniques of O. Henry＇s

O. Henry is the founder of American modern short story. What makes his sto-ries enjoy mostt popularity is his own styles ---- (1) Reasonable artistic exaggeration. (2)Unexpected ending. In this article I emphatically comment its value in the two stories : TheRomance of a Busy Broker and The Last Leaf. Up to now there is still much in Henry‘s method that we can make use of beneficially.     

Some probability functions in reliability and their applications

There has been much research on the general failure model recently. In the general failure model, when the unit fails at its age t, Type I failure (minor failure) occurs with probability 1 ? p(t) and Type II failure (catastrophic failure) occurs with probability p(t). In the previous research, some specific shapes (constant, non‐decreasing, or bathtub‐shape) on the probability function p(t) are assumed. In this article, general results on some probability functions are obtained and applied to study the shapes of p(t). The results are also applied to determining the optimal inspection and allocation policies in maintenance problems. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Naval Research Logistics, 2007     

基于Delphi的PC与NIOS II的串行通信

在比较SOPC与单片机的基础上,介绍了NIOS II串行通信接口以及Delphi下利用Spcomm控件实现串行通信的便利性.搭建了NIOS II软核处理器与上位机RS232串行通信电平转换电路,给出了下位机串行通信初始化代码.为了增强通信过程中的抗干扰能力,方案中设计定义了通信信息协议,并给出了具体上下位机信息的处理过程.实际应用表明,该方案有着很好的容错性与稳定性.     

用Excel演示大M单纯形法

大M单纯形法简称大M法。在大M法中,要求M足够大,通常,M作为符号参与运算。大M法单纯形中的数据均可表为aM＋b的形式,如果用有序数对〈a,b〉等价表示aM＋b,则大M法单纯形中的M被形式上消去,使得,大M法可用Excel演示。     

用Excel演示Floyd算法

Floyd算法是计算最短路径长度的基本算法之一,若用Excel实现,算法的核心部分只需填写一个公式,比通常的四重循环结构算法简单、直观。     

战场目标情报的模糊聚类分析与Excel实现

为有效地对战争目标情报进行快捷、准确地分析处理,从而确定目标区域战场价值程度,以炮兵某次进攻战斗为战术背景,将敌防御区域按照目标分布特点划分为12个小区域;再根据目标的属性和打分原则,运用打分法分别求出各个小区域的综合得分情况;最后采用模糊聚类分析方法和Excel应用软件对其价值进行分析评估,依据模糊聚类结果从而确定重点区域,为指挥员和决策机关制定正确的策略提供科学的依据。     

效能评估研究热点分析

采用计量学方法,以CNKI、SCI数据库中的文献为数据源,运用CitespaceⅡ、Excel软件对效能评估中文、英文相关文献进行分析,通过对比方式,得出国内外效能评估研究热点的相关结论,并将主要关键词以时间轴的顺序区分归类,对效能评估的研究具有一定的参考价值     

基于Ptolemy Ⅱ的传感器网络建模与仿真

提出了一种基于传感器网络的目标定位系统的模型,利用PtolemyⅡ建模仿真平台完成该传感器网络目标定位系统的系统级行为描述,同时对该目标定位系统进行建模与仿真,分析了传感器网络目标定位系统的诸多影响因素,并对仿真模型进行了命中率性能测试。测试结果表明,传感器网络目标定位系统对于传感器节点的功耗及信息时间同步窗口具有敏感性,符合传感器网络目标定位系统应用特性,Ptolemy嵌入式系统级设计方法学对指导传感器网络系统设计具有重要意义。     

用EXCEL制作成绩单及成绩分析

文中给出了一个用Excel制作的成绩单模板,有了此模板,用户只需填入期末、平时成绩和学分等参数,即可得到各考生总评分、积分和全体考生期末考试成绩分布图、平均分、根方差等。     

Parametric inference for component distributions from lifetimes of systems with dependent components

In system reliability analysis, for an n ‐component system, the estimation of the performance of the components in the system is not straightforward in practice, especially when the components are dependent. Here, by assuming the n components in the system to be identically distributed with a common distribution belonging to a scale‐family and the dependence structure between the components being known, we discuss the estimation of the lifetime distributions of the components in the system based on the lifetimes of systems with the same structure. We develop a general framework for inference on the scale parameter of the component lifetime distribution. Specifically, the method of moments estimator (MME) and the maximum likelihood estimator (MLE) are derived for the scale parameter, and the conditions for the existence of the MLE are also discussed. The asymptotic confidence intervals for the scale parameter are also developed based on the MME and the MLE. General simulation procedures for the system lifetime under this model are described. Finally, some examples of two‐ and three‐component systems are presented to illustrate all the inferential procedures developed here. © 2012 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Naval Research Logistics, 2012
