目前在Web3D领域,VRML是主流的开发平台。但在建模过程中,通常使用第三方三维建模软件。这样极大地减轻了制作模型的难度,节约了时间;但由于建模平台本身的原因,转换后的VRML文件的体积比较大,不利于网络传输与浏览。因此,对模型的空间位置进行调整,尽可能地优化模型的视觉效果,缩减其文件体积,是建立虚拟环境非常重要的环节。主要针对这个问题提出了一些具体的优化技术与算法以及新的数据结构。  相似文献

During the last decade telecommunication operators have been deploying WDM (Wavelength Division Multiplexing) technology to satisfy the exponential growth in global communication. While facilitating the advanced information society of today, this has also led to a higher dependency on the networks, and furthermore the high capacity utilization of optical fibers means that a single link failure will influence many users and enterprises. For these reasons, protection of network connections has become a major competitive parameter for the operators. Currently, the most popular protection method is ring protection, due to its simplicity, requiring only basic management functionality and operating with local restoration control. While many optical rings have been deployed, little work has been published on exactly what the cost of ring networks are, compared to general mesh networks. In this article we perform a quantitative comparison between ring protection and mesh protection, using real world network data and realistic prices for network components. Extending classic LP flow models to take rings and node costs into account, and using a link‐path based mesh network LP model, we are able to perform a total cost comparison of the two architectures, and of manual ring network design. The results suggest that the price of mesh network components must be reduced significantly to be competitive with ring based networks, and also that manual network design does not necessarily lead to the most cost‐efficient designs. © 2004 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We present two random search methods for solving discrete stochastic optimization problems. Both of these methods are variants of the stochastic ruler algorithm. They differ from our earlier modification of the stochastic ruler algorithm in that they use different approaches for estimating the optimal solution. Our new methods are guaranteed to converge almost surely to the set of global optimal solutions under mild conditions. We discuss under what conditions these new methods are expected to converge faster than the modified stochastic ruler algorithm. We also discuss how these methods can be used for solving discrete optimization problems when the values of the objective function are estimated using either transient or steady‐state simulation. Finally, we present numerical results that compare the performance of our new methods with that of the modified stochastic ruler algorithm when applied to solve buffer allocation problems. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. We consider the problem of placing sensors across some area of interest. The sensors must be placed so that they cover a fixed set of targets in the region, and should be deployed in a manner that allows sensors to communicate with one another. In particular, there exists a measure of communication effectiveness for each sensor pair, which is determined by a concave function of distance between the sensors. Complicating the sensor location problem are uncertainties related to sensor placement, for example, as caused by drifting due to air or water currents to which the sensors may be subjected. Our problem thus seeks to maximize a metric regarding intrasensor communication effectiveness, subject to the condition that all targets must be covered by some sensor, where sensor drift occurs according to a robust (worst‐case) mechanism. We formulate an approximation approach and develop a cutting‐plane algorithm to solve this problem, comparing the effectiveness of two different classes of inequalities. © 2015 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 针对压控振荡器调频非线性误差的准确估计与校正问题,提出一种以一维距离像对比度最优为准则的自适应估计与校正方法。本方法建立引入温度变量的压控振荡器频率特性模型,并据此估计出某一温度值对应的调频非线性误差,在对中频回波进行误差补偿和一维脉压后,以一维距离像的对比度最优作为迭代收敛准则,实现调频非线性误差的最优估计与校正。仿真和实测数据结果表明,该方法充分考虑了温度因素对压控振荡器输出频率的影响,能够在不增加硬件复杂度的前提下,通过算法实现对调频非线性误差的估计、跟踪与补偿。与传统基于硬件电路进行估计或校正的方法相比,新方法无需由硬件组成闭环估计通道,且具有实时性强、运算量小、补偿精度高的优点,对于克服实际工程应用中压控振荡器器件的参数漂移问题具有重要指导意义。  相似文献

建立了新的导管桨优化设计模型。该模型采用试验设计方法(DOE,design of experiment)在设计空间中均匀采样,捕捉整个设计空间中最有效的设计区域,进而用梯度优化算法在有效设计区域中进行优化设计。经计算实例证明:该算法可以辨识各因子对设计目标的影响系数,从而减少导管桨约束优化问题的计算时间,更有效地解决复杂的非线性优化问题。  相似文献

针对移动Ad hoc网络节点移动频繁和单路径DSR路由协议不能均衡负载、网络健壮性低以及蚁群算法存在局部查询最优的问题,提出一种改进的蚁群算法,并把改进的蚁群算法应用到单路径路由协议DSR,设计出基于蚁群算法的多路径路由协议IDSR,通过仿真实验,从影响Ad hoc网络路由协议性能优劣的3个主要指标来比较IDSR、DSR路由协议和SMR路由协议的性能,实验结果表明,虽然改进协议IDSR路由开销比DSR、SMR稍有增加,但分组的投递率和平均端到端延时性能都有明显提高。  相似文献

This study aims to determine and evaluate dynamic idling policies where an agent can idle while some customers remain waiting. This type of policies can be employed in situations where the flow of urgent customers does not allow the agent to spend sufficient time on back-office tasks. We model the system as a single-agent exponential queue with abandonment. The objective is to minimize the system's congestion while ensuring a certain proportion of idling time for the agent. Using a Markov decision process approach, we prove that the optimal policy is a threshold policy according to which the agent should idle above (below) a certain threshold on the queue length if the congestion-related performance measure is concave (convex) with respect to the number of customers present. We subsequently obtain the stationary probabilities, performance measures, and idling time duration, expressed using complex integrals. We show how these integrals can be numerically computed and provide simpler expressions for fast-agent and heavy-traffic asymptotic cases. In practice, the most common way to regulate congestion is to control access to the service by rejecting some customers upon arrival. Our analysis reveals that idling policies allow high levels of idling probability that such rejection policies cannot reach. Furthermore, the greatest benefit of implementing an optimal idling policy occurs when the objective occupation rate is close to 50% in highly congested situations.  相似文献
