Terrorism,Radicalisation and Moral Panics: Media and Academic Analysis and Reporting of 2016 and 2017 ‘Terrorism’

Radicalism or radicalisation has become a serious political and academic theme in recent years and any incident involving Muslims now almost automatically acquires the cachet, as events in 2016 and 2017 have shown. However, despite vast sums and resources expended on the subject no one can define what they mean by ‘it’. This should make us pause and question what precisely it is that causes so much alarm and is it worth the resources, time and effort employed to respond to it?     

地/海杂波背景下机载火控雷达效能评估

战斗机在对地/海攻击时,地/海杂波对机载火控雷达的工作效能会产生较大影响。分别针对无干扰和压制干扰条件下两类典型体制的机载火控雷达,给出地/海杂波功率的确定方法,建立了地/海杂波背景下机载火控雷达效能评估模型。通过仿真,分析了无干扰与压制干扰条件下地/海杂波对机载火控雷达工作效能的影响,为机载火控雷达技术的研究提供了一定参考。     

宽带噪声环境中FH-FDM/TDMA信号性能分析

新一代高跳速、大带宽通信系统将跳频通信与频分复用、时分多址技术相结合,不仅增加了通信系统容量,形成了灵活的多址方案,同时FH-FDM/TDMA信号具有抗干扰、低截获的能力。为此,在分析FH-FDM/TDMA信号机理的基础上,就同步环路机制进行了深入研究,重点对宽带噪声下的同步捕获环路的相关峰值、跟踪环路的跟踪误差、解调环路的误码率进行了推导;进一步对宽带噪声干扰下的跳频接收环路进行了仿真。结果表明,FH-FDM/TDMA信号具有更强的抗干扰性。     

Kinetic responses to global terrorism: Lessons from Africa

This essay recalls the immediate and longer-term responses of the US and its allies to the events of 9/11. It contends that the die for contemporary developments in transnational terrorism was cast in the immediate aftermath of 9/11 – in particular the launching of sustained ‘anti-terrorist’ military combat operations in Afghanistan and Iraq, and more covert ‘kinetic’ operations elsewhere in the Middle East and Africa. The essay seeks specifically to expose the counter-productivity of using military operations as the primary antidote to transnational terrorism. Focusing on the African ‘laboratory’ and the spread of transnational terrorism and Islamic militancy, particularly in West and East Africa, the essay concludes that radical Islamists have mastered the ‘battle of the narrative’ and that the Western penchant for dispensing a kinetic brand of medication is feeding rather than fighting the virus of global terrorism.     

嵌入式计算机PC/104在陆地导航系统中的应用

随着现代导航技术的发展,嵌入式计算机技术已成为陆地导航系统中不可分割的重要组成部分。介绍了嵌入式工控机PC/104的结构特点及其应用开发特点;基于PC/104的系统设计思想,提出了以PC/104工控机为核心的陆地导航系统的设计方案,重点介绍了该系统的组成、各部件的作用、工作原理以及软件设计流程。这种嵌入式计算机软硬件相辅相成的有机构成,能集中统一地完成各部件的控制与信号处理,使整个陆地导航系统的性能与可靠性得到进一步提高。     

一种具有抑风性能的综合火力/飞行控制系统

提出了飞机中性稳定的直接力控制模态。将这一模态应用于综合火力/飞行控制中的空-空机炮攻击,着重研究了中型稳定模态的抗垂风性能。此模态的应用实现了航迹基本不变的机身瞄准直接力控制,提高了抗垂风能力,明显地改善了姿态跟踪精度,延长了交火时间,并最终减小了脱靶量。     

基于Matlab/Simulink的舰空导弹系统仿真建模

为便于某新型舰空导弹武器系统的作战研究和训练,对其进行了仿真建模研究.根据动态仿真软件Simulink的特点,提出了复杂系统的建模策略.利用面向对象方法,将整个舰空导弹武器系统按功能分成多个模块,将其封装,并充分利用Matlab中的各种现成模块实现复杂的时序及逻辑控制关系,同时在主要的数据计算部分用C语言来开发有关算法.采用某型防空导弹有关数据进行的仿真试验,对所建立的仿真模型进行了校核、验证和确认.结果表明了本文的建模策略和方法以及得到的仿真模型正确合理,仿真结果可信.     

基于Web的数据库与Windows DNA的三层应用

回顾了应用模型的发展过程 ,介绍了当前三层应用模型的结构及其优势 ,以及如何在windows平台上构建基于这一新的模型的应用 .

利用实际飞行数据插值的INS/GNSS组合导航仿真轨迹发生器

针对INS/GNSS组合导航仿真中捷联惯导系统陀螺、加速度计信号高精度模拟问题,提出基于实际飞行数据插值的动态轨迹解析生成仿真算法。对转换到地心惯性坐标系中的载体姿态、位置和重力场数据进行关于时间的样条函数插值,得到载体坐标系下陀螺角速率、角增量以及加速度计比力积分增量的高精度分段解析表达式。使生成的陀螺、加速度计信号符合载体运动学和动力学特性,反映杆臂效应影响,同时与经事后处理的实测GNSS伪距、伪距率等数据特征保持一致。提出四元数约束插值算法,其可满足四元数解析插值时范数为1的约束限制条件。基于某实际无人机飞行数据,验证了所提算法的有效性,其完全满足组合导航动态仿真精度要求。该算法也适用于其他高精度高动态导航系统和刚体运动控制仿真中的角运动、线运动传感器信号模拟。
