This paper considers the maintenance of aircraft engine components that are subject to stress. We model the deterioration process by means of the cumulative jump process representation of crack growth. However, because in many cases cracks are not easily observable, maintenance decisions must be made on the basis of other information. We incorporate stress information collected via sensors into the scheduling decision process by means of a partially observable Markov decision process model. Using this model, we demonstrate the optimality of structured maintenance policies, which support practical maintenance schedules. © 1998 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 综合考虑换向过程、炮口剩余磁能和电阻的能量损耗等因素,建立等效电路模型,通过理论、数值计算和实验的方法,对比分析了常规螺旋发射器和一种新型螺旋发射器的效率。结果表明:电阻焦耳热损耗的能量最大,其次是换向磁能损失,而炮口剩余磁能损失最小。降低电阻、增大互感梯度、减小驱动线圈单元的匝数、增大工作电流等方式可以有效提高发射器的能量转换效率。然而,较大的互感梯度也会带来较大的换向磁能和炮口磁能损失,造成炮管烧蚀甚至损坏、能量泄放和效率降低。另外,恒流工作模式的螺旋发射器理论效率超过轨道炮,且新型螺旋发射器结构的理论效率接近100%,未来有望在超导或较低电阻的情况下实现应用。  相似文献

ABSTRACT

In combat, the ratio of shots fired per casualty inflicted can provide a measure of the combat effectiveness of a force. The shots per casualty ratio achieved by the 1st Australian Task Force in Vietnam is shown to change according to factors including marksmanship, tactics and combat type. While, over the course of the campaign, 1ATF fired an increasing number of shots to achieve a casualty, this is explained by improvements in the quality of Viet Cong and People’s Army small arms. This paper investigates the effect of military burden on economic growth and extends previous works on the optimal size of government expenditure by exploring how external threat affects the preferences of the households and, in turn, economic growth. Post World War II Italian data are used to estimate nonlinear growth models using time-series semi-parametric methods. The estimates show that total government and civilian burdens are productive, whereas, military burden has significant effects on economic growth through the expenditure for peacekeeping missions, which reduces the insecurity in the home country. This may justify economically the current not negligible budget devoted to peacekeeping and humanitarian missions.  相似文献

The mathematical model used to describe the detonation multi-physics phenomenon is usually given by highly coupled nonlinear partial differential equations. Numerical simulation and the computer aided engineering (CAE) technique has become the third pillar of detonation research, along with theory and experiment, due to the detonation phenomenon is difficult to explain by the theoretical analysis, and the cost required to accredit the reliability of detonation products is very high, even some physical experiments of detonation are impossible. The numerical simulation technique can solve these complex problems in the real situation repeatedly and reduce the design cost and time stunningly. But the reliability of numerical simulation software and the serviceability of the computational result seriously hinders the extension, application and the self-restoration of the simulation software, restricts its independently innovational ability. This article deals with the physical modeling, numerical simulation, and software development of detonation in a unified way. Verification and validation and uncertainty quantification (V&V&UQ) is an important approach in ensuring the credibility of the modeling and simulation of detonation. V&V of detonation is based on our independently developed detonation multi-physics software-LAD2D. We propose the verification method based on mathematical theory and program function as well as availability of its program execution. Validation is executed by comparing with the experiment data. At last, we propose the future prospect of numerical simulation software and the CAE technique, and we also pay attention to the research direction of V&V&UQ.  相似文献

Using annual data collected from 1988 to 2015, this study provides evidence of a non-linear relationship between military spending, economic growth and other growth determinants for the South African economy. The empirical study is based on estimates of a logistic smooth transition regression (LSTR) model and our empirical results point to an inverted U-shaped relationship between military spending and economic growth for the data. Furthermore, our empirical results suggest that the current levels of military spending, as a component of total government expenditure, are too high in the South African economy and need to be transferred towards more productive non-military expenditure in order to improve the performance of economic growth and other growth determinants.  相似文献

探讨实现激光波束合成的新方法,分析体布拉格光栅作为激光波束引导器的可行性,基于Kogelnik耦合波理论,着重讨论了影响体布拉格光栅衍射效率的波长选择性和角度选择性因素。实验上给出布拉格光栅的具体制作过程,利用透射式体布拉格光栅完成了2束不同波长的激光并束、2束同种波长的激光并束实验,验证了利用布拉格光栅进行并束的可行性。为了实际中应用的方便,提出在晶体内部利用90°配置设计特定角度的布拉格光栅,让激光垂直照射晶体表面,即可满足布拉格角度入射,改良并束光路,简化理论计算,提高并束效率。  相似文献

由于无线传感器网络在能量消耗、内存开销和计算能力等方面的局限性,传统的网络密钥管理方法已不适用。为此提出了一种适用于无线传感器网络的密钥预分配方法——基于(t,n)-门限方案,给出了密钥分配方法,并从方案的连通性、安全性等方面进行了有效的分析,结果表明该算法在这些方面有一定的优势。  相似文献
