Optimal production and maintenance policy for imperfect production systems

A joint optimization of the production run length and preventive maintenance (PM) policy is studied for a deteriorating production system where the in‐control period follows a general probability distribution with non‐decreasing failure rate. In the literature, the sufficient conditions for the optimality of the equal‐interval PM schedule is explored to derive an optimal production run length and an optimal number of PM actions. Nevertheless, an exhaustive search may arise. In this study, based on the assumption that the conditions for the optimality of the equal‐interval PM schedule hold, we derive some structural properties for the optimal production/PM policy, which increases the efficiency of the solution procedure. These analyses have implications for the practical application of the production/PM model to be more available in practice. A numerical example of gamma shift distribution with non‐decreasing failure rates is used to illustrate the solution procedure, leading to some insight into the management process. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 用于堤坝检测的剖面声纳系统实验研究

针对水下堤坝安全检测,提出并设计实现了适合水下机器人等小平台为载体的可用于堤坝安全检测的高分辨率剖面声纳,系统通过获取被测堤坝内部的回波信号,由DSP构成的水下处理单元进行实时信号处理,从而可获得坝体内介质不连续的信息,并由水上分机进行堤坝内部剖面图像的重建及显示。通过水池和外场堤坝工程检测等应用实例,取得了良好的效果,验证了系统技术路线的可行性和性能的稳健性。     

谈农村防火能力的提高

针对农村火灾形势严峻的现状,从建筑布局、耐火等级、消防基础设施、防火管理、村民消防安全素质、消防救援等方面分析了农村消防安全现状,提出了科学编制农村消防规划、规范农村住宅建设、加强防火管理、完善农村消防站(点)和基本消防设施建设、加大农村"三合一"建筑整治力度等对策。     

我国石油化工消防安全对策研究

随着我国石油天然气生产、消费比重的不断增大,与之相应的消防安全隐患也有增大的趋势。为此,应加强生产安全规章制度的建立和落实,加大消防硬件的建设和合理化部署,加大监管措施和力度,最大限度减少石油化工行业的灾害,为石油天然气的战略调整提供安全保障。     

数据中心火灾危险性分析与防治对策

数据中心极其重要,一旦发生火灾,后果严重。为保证数据中心免受火灾危害,在介绍数据中心的特点的基础上,分析了其火灾特点及火灾危险性,提出了合理选择消防设施、加强电气防火、建立长效管理机制等防火对策。     

论农村消防安全环境的构筑

建设社会主义新农村是我国现代化进程中的重大历史任务。切实加强农村消防工作,为建设社会主义新农村创造和谐稳定的消防安全环境,是公安消防部队的神圣历史使命,也是当前和今后一个时期消防工作的中心任务。通过实地调研,指出了当前农村消防工作存在的主要问题,分析了问题的主要成因,并结合实际,从消防教育、消防投入、消防队伍、消防责任、消防监管等方面,提出了加强社会主义新农村消防工作的意见。

经济快速增长时期旺盛的石油需求使中国石油进口及对外依存度不断上升,石油来源及进口安全成为保障经济安全的战略难题;中哈两国凭借资源、地缘优势和共同的利益需要,业已建立起牢固的互信关系和利益纽带,以中哈输油管道对接为契机的石油合作为我国石油安全战略和国家利益的实现提供了历史机遇,不但使我国石油来源及进口多元化有了坚实的基础和可靠的保证,从而掌握石油贸易全球化的主动权,而且可加快我国石油资源利用的市场化、国际化进程,为我国顺利完成工业化进程提供多元化的能源保障。     

Optimal joint preventive maintenance and production policies

We study joint preventive maintenance (PM) and production policies for an unreliable production‐inventory system in which maintenance/repair times are non‐negligible and stochastic. A joint policy decides (a) whether or not to perform PM and (b) if PM is not performed, then how much to produce. We consider a discrete‐time system, formulating the problem as a Markov decision process (MDP) model. The focus of the work is on the structural properties of optimal joint policies, given the system state comprised of the system's age and the inventory level. Although our analysis indicates that the structure of optimal joint policies is very complex in general, we are able to characterize several properties regarding PM and production, including optimal production/maintenance actions under backlogging and high inventory levels, and conditions under which the PM portion of the joint policy has a control‐limit structure. In further special cases, such as when PM set‐up costs are negligible compared to PM times, we are able to establish some additional structural properties. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc.
