对办好高等院校研究生课程进修教育的思考

近年来,高校纷纷举办各种形式多样的在职研究生课程进修班,针对这一新生的、过热的教育形式,本文从其定位和目前存在问题等方面进行系统分析,并提出了进一步办好研究生课程进修班的措施.

A specially structured nonlinear integer resource allocation problem

We present an algorithm for solving a specially structured nonlinear integer resource allocation problem. This problem was motivated by a capacity planning study done at a large Health Maintenance Organization in Texas. Specifically, we focus on a class of nonlinear resource allocation problems that involve the minimization of a convex function over one general convex constraint, a set of block diagonal convex constraints, and bounds on the integer variables. The continuous variable problem is also considered. The continuous problem is solved by taking advantage of the structure of the Karush‐Kuhn‐Tucker (KKT) conditions. This method for solving the continuous problem is then incorporated in a branch and bound algorithm to solve the integer problem. Various reoptimization results, multiplier bounding results, and heuristics are used to improve the efficiency of the algorithms. We show how the algorithms can be extended to obtain a globally optimal solution to the nonconvex version of the problem. We further show that the methods can be applied to problems in production planning and financial optimization. Extensive computational testing of the algorithms is reported for a variety of applications on continuous problems with up to 1,000,000 variables and integer problems with up to 1000 variables. © 2003 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 环境新闻在中国的发展及其特征简析

环境问题已经成为一大社会问题,环境新闻成为媒体和公众关注的焦点。国内环境新闻作为一个新兴的报道题材,已迅速闯进主要新闻传媒的主阵地,并逐渐成为与时政新闻、经济新闻、科技新闻等并驾齐驱的报道领域,成为各家传媒和记者争相采访报道的重要内容。本文从环境新闻的概念与产生入手,分析其在中国的发展。     

蚁群算法及其在火力分配问题中的应用

火力分配问题是指用一定数量的武器对一定数量的目标进行打击,如何根据武器性能和目标特性等一系列的因素,制定打击计划,使打击效果最好,满足打击需求,是我二炮部队火力运用专业的研究课题之一.火力分配问题是NP难题,经典的求解算法存在指数级的时间复杂度.采用蚁群优化算法,对该问题进行了研究.     

我国现行工程建设消防技术标准存在问题及解决对策

工程建设消防技术标准是公安消防机构审核、验收及工程技术人员设计、施工及验收的依据,也是公安消防机构进行日常监督检查和执法的技术依据。然而,目前我国现行工程建设消防技术标准的编制仍存在一些不完善的方面,影响了这些标准的有效执行。在对当前各类工程建设消防技术标准进行分析的基础上,总结了现行工程建设消防技术标准亟待完善的若干方面,并对此提出相关建议。     

Militarism in post-war Cyprus: the development of the ideology of defence

This article provides a theorisation of militarism in post-war Cyprus. Based on qualitative empirical research conducted in Cyprus in 2011, the article explores the manifestation and steadfastness of Greek-Cypriot militarism, and the development of this militarism, which appeared after the partition of the island in 1974. In particular, it proposes the ideology of defence as a way to understand post-war Greek-Cypriot militarism. It shows the embedded nature of defence in the idea of the national struggle. It aims at mapping the character of this militarism in order to provide the grounds for future discussion. Only by understanding the interconnecting discourses that made Greek-Cypriot militarism possible in post-war Cyprus, can we understand its past, present, and future.     

A strategic model for state compliance verification

The theory of directed graphs and noncooperative games is applied to the problem of verification of State compliance to international treaties on arms control, disarmament and nonproliferation of weapons of mass destruction. Hypothetical treaty violations are formulated in terms of illegal acquisition paths for the accumulation of clandestine weapons, weapons‐grade materials or some other military capability. The paths constitute the illegal strategies of a sovereign State in a two‐person inspection game played against a multi‐ or international Inspectorate charged with compliance verification. The effectiveness of existing or postulated verification measures is quantified in terms of the Inspectorate's expected utility at Nash equilibrium. 朝核问题对中国边境安全的影响

朝核问题一直是困扰东北亚地区安全的核心问题,自20世纪90年代第一次朝核危机至今．朝核问题不但没有得到妥善解决,反而更加复杂。2006年10月9日,朝鲜宣布成功进行了地下核试验,朝鲜半岛再一次成为全球关注的焦点。在前人研究的基础上,就朝核问题产生的背景,朝核问题对中国边境地区经济、地区稳定以及生态环境等方面产生的影响进行分析和探讨。     

建筑防排烟系统存在问题及对策

结合火灾烟气蔓延扩散的客观规律和防排烟工程的实际状况,分析了建筑防排烟工程存在的几个共性问题及其危害,剖析了出现这些问题的根本原因,提出了尽快制定一部统一的《防排烟系统设计规范》、加强防排烟系统的设计、施工队伍监督管理和部件质量管理的对策。
