星载大容量固态存储控制器的级联编码设计

航天器大容量数据存储设备主要采用基于NAND Flash的固态存储器,但由于空间环境中单粒子翻转效应的影响,以及存储器芯片在操作过程中因为阈值电压偏移导致的位比特错误等原因,存储设备的可靠性降低。为提高数据存储设备的数据容错性,依据NAND Flash芯片物理结构和数据存储结构,具有针对性地提出RS(256,252)码+LDPC(8192,7154)码级联的纠检错并行编码设计,并优化编码算法的电路实现方法。建模仿真和地面测试系统测试结果表明:该设计具有低硬件开销、低功耗和高可靠性的优点。存储系统的数据总容量达512 Gb,有效数据吞吐率为700 Mb/s,能够满足航天器固态存储控制器对大容量数据控制和高数据吞吐量的设计需求。     

美军ASPEN1000DM净水装置对我军反渗透野营供水装备研究的启示

消化研究美军ASPEN1000DM反渗透净水装置,掌握了其技术性能参数和净水工艺流程,并对其先进性和不足之处进行综合评价。在此基础上,提出我军应从改进反渗透系统进水的预处理、增加装置能源的选择性、研制能量回收装置和优化反渗透净水装置的设计以及水质在线监测等方面加强反渗透净水装备的研制,以提高我军供水装备的水平。     

多功能小区工程建设及其环境保护

研究表明,永川市某多功能小区目前环境质量良好,可满足永川新城建设需要。原渝西学院红河校区工程建设环境后评价发现,尽管对小区新建工程进行了科学决策与管理,但新建工程仍然对环境质量有轻微的不利影响,其积累效应值得有关方面关注。该结论对多功能小区环境规划、管理与保护具有一定意义。     

基于品质度量的移动Ad Hoc网络分层密钥管理优化技术

提出了一个分布式的基于品质度量的分层密钥优化管理机制。该机制通过动态选择高品质的节点作为PKG来增强移动Ad Hoc网络的安全性,并将网络生存时间最大化。节点的选择可以归结为随机(restless bandit)问题,并且将密钥更新过程分为在线和离线两个部分,从而降低了计算复杂性。仿真结果表明,该机制可增强网络的安全性和将网络生存时间最大化,非常适合移动自组网的应用要求。     

The human consequences of foreign military intervention

The empirical international conflict literature has given much recent attention to interstate armed force’s impact on human well-being. While empirical research has advanced our understanding of the phenomenon considerably, we argue that one conclusion that many studies have reached is preliminary. Some recent research contends that only full-scale war, and not force short of war, has a discernable impact on human welfare or physical quality of life (PQOL). We develop theory on one type of force short of war, large-scale foreign military intervention (FMI), and its potential effects on PQOL. Using interrupted time series and panel corrected standard error methodologies, we find that from 1960 to 2005 large-scale FMI had a statistically and substantively significant impact on the PQOL of populations in 106 developing countries. The specific effect that this type of armed force has depended in large part on the regime type of the target country.     

归零制度在学位论文质量保障体系建设中的应用

学位论文是衡量研究生培养质量的重要标志之一。鉴于开题、答辩等重要论文质量监控环节出现的走过场、走形式现象,提出将问题归零制度引入学位论文质量保障体系之中。通过明确归零范围、基本要求、责任主体和处理程序,构建了保障学位论文质量的归零制度设想。     

基于准循环双对角阵的LDPC码编码算法

针对校验矩阵形如准循环双对角阵的结构化LDPC码,对比研究了两类高效的编码算法:矩阵分解编码算法和分项累加递归编码算法,证明了两类算法从实现角度是等价的,但分项累加递归编码算法推导更为直观,且便于硬件并行实现。基于分项累加编码算法,提出了一种适合准循环双对角LDPC码的部分并行编码结构,设计实现了IEEE 802.11n标准中的LDPC码编码器。FPGA实现结果表明,所设计的LDPC编码器具有硬件开销较小、吞吐率高的优点,在码长为1944bit、码率为5/6时信息比特吞吐率最高可达13Gbps。     

Return policy: Hassle‐free or your money‐back guarantee?

This article compares the profitability of two pervasively adopted return policies—money‐back guarantee and hassle‐free policies. In our model, a seller sells to consumers with heterogeneous valuations and hassle costs. Products are subject to quality risk, and product misfit can only be observed post‐purchase. While the hassle‐free policy is cost advantageous from the seller's viewpoint, a money‐back guarantee allows the seller to fine‐tune the consumer hassle on returning the product. Thus, when the two return policies lead to the same consumer behaviors, the hassle‐free policy dominates. Conversely, a money‐back guarantee can be more profitable even if on average, high‐valuation consumers experience a lower hassle cost than the low‐valuation ones. The optimal hassle cost can be higher when product quality gets improved; thus, it is not necessarily a perfect proxy or signal of the seller's quality. We further allow the seller to adopt a mixture of these policies, and identify the concrete operating regimes within which these return policies are optimal among more flexible policies. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. TAX EFFICIENCY AND QUALITY/QUANTITY TRADE‐OFFS IN DEFENSE PROCUREMENT*

In this article the effect of defense spending on aggregate output is discussed. Recent publications in this area are reviewed and new additional evidence is provided. The findings presented in this paper are supportive of the positive effect of defense spending. However, in light of the contrary evidence presented in other papers, empirical evidence taken as a whole, suggests that a definitive conclusion about the effect of defense spending at this time should be avoided.
