Reliability of a 2‐dimensional k‐within‐consecutive‐r × s‐out‐of‐m × n:F system

A 2‐dimensional rectangular (cylindrical) k‐within‐consecutive‐r × s‐out‐of‐m × n:F system is the rectangular (cylindrical) m × n‐system if the system fails whenever k components in a r × s‐submatrix fail. This paper proposes a recursive algorithm for the reliability of the 2‐dimensional k‐within‐consecutive‐r × s‐out‐m × n:F system, in the rectangular case and the cylindrical case. This algorithm requires min ( O (mk^r(n?s)), O (nk^s(m?r))), and O (mk^rn) computing time in the rectangular case and the cylindrical case, respectively. 多层DSS体系结构研究

在设计和部署DSS时,由于对DSS体系结构认识不清,常常不能做出正确的选择.而对DSS体系结构的正确选择正是成功实施DSS的关键.详细地分析了第一、二代DSS模型在具体实施和运行过程中存在的问题,提出了一种综合的多层DSS模型,并设计了软件体系结构.该模型综合了数据仓库和数据集市的优点,解决了第一、二代DSS模型存在的不足,对规划和部署DSS具有一定的指导意义.     

高速三维地形显示系统的体系结构

从自行设计的专用三维地形显示的硬件和软件系统的观点出发,讨论了高速三维地形显示系统的体系结构、关键技术及其实现方法。以新一代的高速处理器ＩＮＴＥＬｉ８６０为核心,采用分配树技术,解决多路并行输出产生的竞争和瓶颈问题;实现Ｚ－缓冲硬件算法,提高系统的图形消隐速度;设计多帧存体结构,支持多通道、多画面信息的快速显示。     

时域TEM喇叭天线的分析和设计

TEM喇叭是一种超宽带天线,但迄今为止大都是利用频域的概念来研究的。本节从波模理论出发,提出喇叭的开口阻抗不能看作真空波阻抗,它与喇叭尺寸、张角有关;由于冲激脉冲有时序性,反射只与局部结构有关。介绍了实际制作的TEM喇叭天线,并给出了实验结果,表明它具有良好的阻抗匹配特性和波形保真性,对时域天线的研究具有很好的理论和实用价值。     

Repairable consecutive‐k‐out‐of‐n: F system with Markov dependence

In this article, a model for a repairable consecutive‐k‐out‐of‐n: F system with Markov dependence is studied. A binary vector is used to represent the system state. The failure rate of a component in the system depends on the state of the preceding component. The failure risk of a system state is then introduced. On the basis of the failure risk, a priority repair rule is adopted. Then the transition density matrix can be determined, and the analysis of the system reliability can be conducted accordingly. One example each of a linear and a circular system is then studied in detail to explain the model and methodology developed in this paper. © 2000 John Wiley & Sons, Inc. 软件测试中的路径划分技术

路径覆盖测试准则要优于其它已知的覆盖准则,但由于对一般的软件,路径数目太大,以至实际难以实现。路径划分是路径覆盖技术的一个折中方法。给定的程序Ｐ和给定模块的最大路径数目ｋ,按就近原则,现给出了一种划分Ｐ的算法,使得每个划分后的模块所包含的路径数目都少于等于ｋ。同时也给出了最佳划分的度量标准和最佳划分方法。     

多比特信息分布式检测优化研究

本文拓展了通常意义下多传感器组网分布式检测模型,允许各传感器向融合中心传输多比特信息。给出了Ｋｕｌｌｂａｃｋ分辨率意义下,确定最优多比特信息的方法,以利于改善系统检测性能。数值结果表明,多比特信息分布式检测方案是可行的。     

An alliance between Cyprus and Greece: assessing its partners’ relative security contribution

The issue that this paper tackles is the assessment of the relative security benefits that Cyprus and Greece derive in the context of their cooperation on defence matters. This form of cooperation, known as the ‘Integrated Defence Space Doctrine’, aims at defending their interests in the Aegean Sea and the broader East Mediterranean theatre. The paper relies heavily on earlier research on this topic, which deals with the Greek–Cypriot alliance facing an arms race against Turkey, and uses a coefficient especially designed to assess the optimal levels of security and the associated defence expenditure of the two allies. A comparison of the relative security coefficient values for the two allies suggests that the security benefit that Greece derives thanks to its alliance with Cyprus exceeds the corresponding Cypriot benefit by far. Given the importance assigned to human resources by this index, in conjunction with the demographic problems of Greece, this conclusion justifies the recent Greek defence policy revision, emphasizing quality, capital equipment and flexibility of forces. This revision aims at satisfying the security requirements of the alliance and the increasing demands of an arms race against Turkey.
