Discussion of teaching reformation on fire speciality

The system of Fire Science and Fire-protection Engineering is analyzed and discussed. The directions of fire knowledge should be widened in order to be consistent with the cultivating mode of this major. It is presented that choosing effective information, dealing with the relationship between education and training correctly, emphasizing the basic special curriculums and regulating teaching material and curriculums are all important for reasonable curriculums system. It is not only precondition for creating knowledge system with core competitive but also key factors enhancing scope and benefit for Chinese People's Armed Police Force Academy in the field of fire protection field to form characteristic and preponderant core knowledge directions and core knowledge and technology represented by curriculums.
