Reuse of Frequency Rule in English Teaching and Learning of Universities

Frequency Rule is one of the essential and critical features in language-learning of English. Having illustrated the insufficient application of the frequency rule in the language-learning and teaching of English in universities and colleges and based on the frequency rule as the theoretical model, the thesis calls for the redeeming of its important status in both language-learning and teaching of English in fields such as word, phrase, grammar and cultural background through a practical teaching perspective. Such efforts are of significant practical meaning to solve, especially the sharp contradiction between the given teaching time and the required learning contents.
