| 摘 要： | 翻译是促进人类交流，传递文化信息的最有效的途径。采取何种翻译方法才能使翻译的文本达到最佳效果，是人们长时间讨论的问题。本文拟对西方的翻译观点和中国传统的翻译观点进行概述，以使人们对于翻译问题有更好地认识。

| Abstract: | Translation is an important means by which people of different cultures and races communicate with each other.There have always been discussions as to the translation principles and techniques.This paper attempts to make a comparison between the Western translation views and the traditional Chinese translation views so as to compare and contrast foreignization,domestication,free translation and literal translation. |
