弗洛伊德的文化观

立足于精神分析学派的本能理论，弗洛伊德对文化的定义、构成、起源、发展做出了颇具特色的阐释和说明。他认为文化和文明是两个相同的概念，是人类区别于动物的标志；文化包含两个层次的内容，科学技术、物质财富和各种规章制度是文化构成的第一个层次的内容，共同理想、艺术、哲学和宗教等心理财富是文化构成的第二个层次的内容；人类文明始于图腾时代，建立于爱欲之上；人类文明是以牺牲人的本能为代价建成的；人类文明的进程是爱欲和攻击性本能的斗争过程。
