Abstract:This paper summarizes the development of the mathematical models for describing the dynamical characteristics of hysteretic non linearity of elastic elements.The models of the ideal dry friction, bili nearity and Bouc as well as trace method are introduced in detail.The standard about judging which of the mathematical models is better is presented
