| 摘 要： | 谚语翻译是文化翻译的重要研究方向之一，从小说《围城》的英译本中选择了四类西方谚语典故的英文翻译，以译文在目标语境下的功能评价标准，开展文学翻译批评。谚语典故的翻译与溯源，实现了翻译研究的文化转向。

| Abstract: | This paper focuses on the translation of western - originated idioms in Fortress Besieged. By employing the function-equality theory in cultural translation, the paper makes a thorough analysis of the translation in cultural context. And the conclusion is that the idioms and proverbs translation has conducted the cultural turn. |
