This paper reports on a study using the available oil monitoring information, such as the data obtained using the Spectrometric Oil Analysis Programme (SOAP), to predict the residual life of a set of aircraft engines. The relationship between oil monitoring information and the residual life is established using the concept of the proportional residual, which states that the predicted residual life may be proportional to the wear increment measured by the oil analysis programmes. Assuming such a relationship between wear and the residual life exists, we formulated a recursive prediction model for the item's residual life given measured oil monitoring information to date. A set of censored life data of 30 aircraft engines (right censored due to preventive overhaul) along with the history of their monitored metal concentration information are available to us. The metal concentration information includes many variables, such as Fe, Cu, Al, etc.; not all of them are useful, and some of them may be correlated. The principal component analysis (PCA) has been adopted to reduce the dimension of the original data set and to produce a new set of uncorrelated variables, which we shall use in the prediction model. The procedure associated with estimating model parameters is discussed. The model is fitted to the actual SOAP data from the aircraft engines, and the goodness‐of‐fit test has been carried out. © 2005 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. Naval Research Logistics, 2005.  相似文献

科学地研究游击战的获胜机理是军事学领域尚未解决的核心问题之一。运用信息作战原理,在海上游击战环境中,通过潜艇与航母战斗群反潜直升机的对抗来分析海上游击战的信息作战原理,研究表明:航母受到攻击的威胁通常为潜艇的1.5到5倍,只要发挥潜艇的信息与火力的联合作战优势来削弱航空母舰战斗群的反潜信息与火力的联合作战优势,仅单艘潜艇就可对航空母舰造成重创。信息作战原理不仅揭示了游击战环境中各种小概率事件及随机因素的影响机理,而且也可用作为对游击战指挥控制原理进行研究的理论基础及方法。  相似文献

Adequate prediction of a response variable using a multiple linear regression model is shown in this article to be related to the presence of multicollinearities among the predictor variables. If strong multicollinearities are present in the data, this information can be used to determine when prediction is likely to be accurate. A region of prediction, R, is proposed as a guide for prediction purposes. This region is related to a prediction interval when the matrix of predictor variables is of full column rank, but it can also be used when the sample is undersized. The Gorman-Toman ten-variable data is used to illustrate the effectiveness of the region R.  相似文献

To simulate explosion fragments, it is necessary to predict many variables such as fragment velocity, size distribution and projection angle. For active protection systems these predictions need to be made very quickly, before the weapon hits the target. Fast predictions also need to be made in real time simulations when the impact of many different computer models need to be assessed. The research presented in this paper focuses on creating a fast and accurate estimate of one of these variables - the initial fragment velocity. The Gurney equation was the first equation to calculate initial fragment velocity. This equation, sometimes with modifications, is still used today where finite element analysis or complex mathematical approaches are considered too computationally expensive. This paper enhances and improves Breech’s two-dimensional Gurney equation using available empirical data and the principals of conservation of momentum and energy. The results are computationally quick, providing improved accuracy for estimating initial fragment velocity. This will allow the developed model to be available for real-time simulation and fast computation, with improved accuracy when compared to existing approaches.  相似文献

飞机发动机是一个非常复杂的大系统,由于其结构复杂,工作环境恶劣,对其关键系统的故障进行准确诊断始终是困扰业界的技术瓶颈之一。提出了采用EMD小波阈值降噪与主元分析相结合的方法,对飞机发动机气路系统故障诊断进行了深入研究。针对某型真实飞机发动机进行测试试验采集的气路多参量数据,首先采用经验模态分解(Empirical Mode Decomposition,EMD)对气路系统各参量信号进行EMD分解,然后采用软阈值函数对其进行降噪,并进行信号重构,从而可得到飞机发动机气路工作状态有效数据。在此基础上,设计了飞机发动机气路系统主元分析故障诊断模型,并结合预处理得到的飞机发动机气路有效数据,运用所设计的主元分析故障诊断模型对飞机发动机进行故障诊断技术研究。研究结果表明,所提出的方法能够很好地诊断出飞机发动机气路系统实际运行时所出现的故障,具有重要的实际应用价值,并有广泛的应用前景。  相似文献

This paper describes a method of solving aircraft service life problems. The particular application concerns aircraft in the Naval Advanced Jet Training Command. The method of solution is comparative present value analysis of alternative replacement policies. The likely risks of estimation errors are reflected in the comparisons of present values. Differences are noted in the benefits associated with each policy, but external to Naval Aviation. Since the values of these benefits can be determined only at a higher level of decision-making, the result of the study is not a conclusive selection among policies, but a schedule of present values on the basis of which, together with values of the external benefits, a decision can be reached. This paper discusses replacement policies for aircraft used in the Naval Advanced Jet Pilot Training mission. Taking engineering technology and the training syllabus as given, four feasible plans for introducing replacement aircraft into service are evaluated in terms of the present values of differential costs associated with the plans and in terms of the likely errors in cost estimates used in calculation of the present values. The trade-off between present value of costs and planning flexibility is emphasized in choosing a recommended time pattern of aircraft replacement. The specific aircraft mixes considered are the TF–9J/TAF–9J and the TA–4F/A–4B. The first is the currently employed mix; the second is the proposed replacement. The problem is to select an optimal time-pattern of replacement of F–9's by A–4's, given technological differences favoring the A–4 and increasing costs of maintaining squadrons of F–9's. Replacements by aircraft types other than the A–4 are considered impractical. Four feasible plans for introducing A–4's through a 5-year period are evaluated in terms of current best estimates of the related costs of the plans and in terms of the flexibility of modifying each plan given future better information concerning the relevant costs. 在文献[1-3]中求得的XNAV基本方程中,时间和距离是指太阳质心系(BCRS)中的坐标量。但在实际测量中,接收机测量的时间是时钟的固有时,接收机的位置一般应以地心系(GCRS)为基准。在相对论框架内完成这两个坐标转换,使得XNAV测量方程能够直接得到应用。最后给出了完整的XNAV高精度测量方程及其在实际测量中的计算过程。  相似文献

飞机再次出动保障活动所需时间长短对提升飞机的作战效能至关重要,针对当前在飞机保障资源有限约束条件下,再次出动保障活动工期最短难以实现的难题,提出了基于分支切割法的再次出动保障活动时间优化方法。该方法以飞机再次出动保障活动所需时间最短为目标,以有限的保障人员和保障作业间逻辑关系为约束条件,可计算出时间最短的飞机再次出动保障活动具体流程,并用VB6.0编制成计算机程序,开发了飞机再次出动保障活动分析系统。最后,对某型飞机真实保障活动进行了实例分析,结果表明,使用该方法计算得到的结果准确、可靠,与实际保障情况相符,可为飞机再次出动保障与决策提供指导,提升保障活动的自动化水平,具有很好的工程应用价值。  相似文献

A branch and bound algorithm is developed for a class of allocation problems in which some constraint coefficients depend on the values of certain of the decision variables. Were it not for these dependencies, the problems could be solved by linear programming. The algorithm is developed in terms of a strategic deployment problem in which it is desired to find a least-cost transportation fleet, subject to constraints on men/materiel requirements in the event of certain hypothesized contingencies. Among the transportation vehicles available for selection are aircraft which exhibit the characteristic that the amount of goods deliverable by an aircraft on a particular route in a given time period (called aircraft productivity and measured in kilotons/aircraft/month) depends on the ratio of type 1 to type 2 aircraft used on that particular route. A model is formulated in which these relationships are first approximated by piecewise linear functions. A branch and bound algorithm for solving the resultant nonlinear problem is then presented; the algorithm solves a sequence of linear programming problems. The algorithm is illustrated by a sample problem and comments concerning its practicality are made.  相似文献

In this paper we address the question of deriving deep cuts for nonconvex disjunctive programs. These problems include logical constraints which restrict the variables to at least one of a finite number of constraint sets. Based on the works of Balas. Glover, and Jeroslow, we examine the set of valid inequalities or cuts which one may derive in this context, and defining reasonable criteria to measure depth of a cut we demonstrate how one may obtain the “deepest” cut. The analysis covers the case where each constraint set in the logical statement has only one constraint and is also extended for the case where each of these constraint sets may have more than one constraint.  相似文献

The deterministic problem for finding an aircraft's optimal risk trajectory in a threat environment has been formulated. The threat is associated with the risk of aircraft detection by radars or similar sensors. The model considers an aircraft's trajectory in three‐dimensional (3‐D) space and represents the aircraft by a symmetrical ellipsoid with the axis of symmetry directing the trajectory. Analytical and discrete optimization approaches for routing an aircraft with variable radar cross‐section (RCS) subject to a constraint on the trajectory length have been developed. Through techniques of Calculus of Variations, the analytical approach reduces the original risk optimization problem to a vectorial nonlinear differential equation. In the case of a single detecting installation, a solution to this equation is expressed by a quadrature. A network optimization approach reduces the original problem to the Constrained Shortest Path Problem (CSPP) for a 3‐D network. The CSPP has been solved for various ellipsoid shapes and different length constraints in cases with several radars. The impact of ellipsoid shape on the geometry of an optimal trajectory as well as the impact of variable RCS on the performance of a network optimization algorithm have been analyzed and illustrated by several numerical examples. © 2006 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 针对不确定性结构可靠性分析中的输入变量分布参数具有不确定性和输入变量为区间模型的混合不确定性结构展开研究。考虑到可用信息最少的情况,将分布参数的不确定性描述为区间模型。通过等概率转换方法将随机变量与其分布参数进行分离,使问题转化为随机与区间变量混合的可靠性问题,建立了混合不确定性问题的可靠性分析模型。基于非概率可靠性理论,建立混合不确定结构分析模型的二级极限状态函数并结合Kriging代理模型建立了高效的求解方法。将所建立的混合不确定模型应用于飞行器结构的不确定性分析中,验证了所建模型的合理性和所提方法的高效性和准确性。  相似文献

以复杂地形地区物资快速投送平台设计为背景,开展尾座式电动飞机复合材料机翼设计研究。对机翼结构载荷进行分析,对机翼结构构件布置和铺层进行设计,形成复合材料机翼结构设计方案。建立复合材料机翼结构有限元模型,开展典型工况条件下的静力分析,得到机翼结构变形、应力和Tsai-Wu失效因子分布。采用分步优化策略,以机翼结构铺层厚度和铺层角度为设计变量,开展机翼结构质量优化计算,优化结果表明,优化后的机翼结构在满足强度和刚度要求下质量减轻约47.77%,可为尾座式电动飞机结构设计提供重要参考。  相似文献

This paper considers a group of S identical aircraft, each of which is partitioned into K parts which fail exponentially. The only way in which a failed aircraft can be repaired is by cannibalizing its out-of-commission parts from other failed aircraft. The evolution of the number of good aircraft over time is governed by the transient behavior of an absorbing Markov chain. We can therefore study this behavior by matrix multiplication although the computational problem grows large for K ≥ 3. Some numerical results and some approximations are also provided.  相似文献
