Abstract

This study investigates the association between defense and health spending using multi-resolution analysis incorporating the structural change model. Our empirical results suggested that a negative correlation between defense and health spending persists over the entire period of 1941–2013 in the very long-run (over 16 years cycle), but there is a change in correlation between defense and health spending in the short-run (2–4 years cycle), medium-run (4–8 years cycle), and long-run (8–16 years cycle) during the same period. In particular, there appears to have been a trade-off relationship between defense and health spending during the ex-Korean War period, but there was a complementary relationship between defense and health spending during the post-Korean War period. The crowding-out effect of health spending on defense spending during the period when the Affordable Care Act was put into effect relies on the strength of the positive correlation in the long-run (8–16 years cycle) and negative correlation in the short-run (2–4 years cycle) and very long-run (over 16 years cycle).  相似文献

针对发动机曲轴R角部位的缺陷检测,提出使用相控阵超声的方法.首先,对曲轴R角损伤机理进行分析,确定缺陷定量检测的参数依据;其次,通过商业超声仿真检测软件CIVA,对曲轴R角损伤部位的检测方法进行探索;最后,采用相控阵超声仪器对预置的5 mm深人工裂纹进行检测,实现裂纹深度最佳检测方案的判定.研究表明:在考虑实际检测可行性的前提下,通过建立仿真与实际检测之间的联系,超声仿真检测软件CIVA可以很好地指导实际检测工作,且采用线阵探头进行扇形扫查可实现曲轴R角缺陷的有效检测.  相似文献

碳纤维混凝土受压应力-应变全曲线研究是对其基本力学性能进行全面认识的基础,也是表现碳纤维混凝土基本受压特性的综合宏观反映。对9组(碳纤维体积分数分别为0,0.2%,0.4%,0.6%,0.8%,1.0%,1.2%,1.4%,1.6%)碳纤维混凝土试件进行了立方体和棱柱体抗压强度试验,结果表明碳纤维混凝土立方体和棱柱体抗压强度随碳纤维体积分数的增加呈下降趋势,峰值应变随碳纤维体积分数的增加呈增大趋势。基于各体积分数碳纤维混凝土的棱柱体抗压强度和峰值应变的试验数据,拟合得到了棱柱体抗压强度和峰值应变与体积分数之间的函数表达式。利用微机控制电液伺服压力试验机测定了9组碳纤维混凝土应力-应变全曲线,参照非线弹性理论的混凝土单轴受压应力-应变本构模型,根据测得的全曲线应力-应变数据,拟合得到了应力-应变全曲线上升段表达式参数和下降段表达式参数,最后给出了基于碳纤维体积分数变化的碳纤维混凝土单轴受压应力-应变本构方程。  相似文献

贴壁浇筑的固体发动机推进剂药柱在点火状态下处于三向围压状态,而环向承受拉应变,亟待对围压下推进剂的破坏机理展开研究。基于自研的围压加载试验系统,通过开展推进剂在不同围压、温度和应变率下的单轴拉伸试验来研究围压、温度和应变率的耦合作用对推进剂力学行为的影响。针对围压下推进剂的力学响应特征,通过细观力学仿真进一步研究围压下推进剂的破坏形式,同时借助电镜扫描试验分析推进剂试样断面的形貌特征,通过试验和仿真相结合的手段分析了围压下推进剂的破坏机理。研究结果表明,围压下推进剂的损伤界面显著减少,且随着围压载荷的逐渐增加,推进剂的损伤形式从以颗粒脱湿为主转变为以颗粒破碎为主。  相似文献

All underwater drilling and blasting operations generate seismic waves.However,due to a lack of suitable vibration sensing instruments,most studies on the propagation of seismic waves have been limited to shorelines near construction areas or wharfs,whereas comparatively few studies have been conducted on the larger seafloor itself.To address this gap,a seafloor vibration sensor system was developed and applied in this study that consists of an autonomous acquisition storage terminal,soft-ware platform,and hole-plugging device that was designed to record the blasting vibration intensities received through submarine rocks at a given measurement point.Additionally,dimensional analyses were used to derive a predictive equation for the strength of blast vibrations that considered the in-fluence of the water depth.By combining reliable vibration data obtained using the sensor system in submarine rock and the developed predictive equation,it was determined that the water depth was an important factor influencing the measured vibration strength.The results using the newly derived equation were compared to those determined using the Sadowski equation,which is commonly used on land,and it was found that predictions using the derived equation were closer to the experimental values with an average error of less than 10%,representing a significant improvement.Based on these results,the developed sensor system and preliminary theoretical basis was deemed suitable for studying the propagation behavior of submarine seismic waves generated by underwater drilling and blasting operations.  相似文献

We investigate and compare the impact of the tax reduction policies implemented in the United States and China to stimulate consumer purchase of new automobiles and improve manufacturers' profits. The U.S. policy provides each qualifying consumer with a federal income tax deduction on state and local sales and excise taxes paid on the purchase price (up to a cutoff level), whereas the Chinese policy reduces the vehicle sales tax rate for consumers. We observe that these policy designs are consistent with the tax management system and the economic environment in the respective country. We analytically determine the effects of the two tax reduction policies on the automobile sales and the manufacturer's and the retailer's profits. Numerical examples are then used to provide insights on the importance of certain factors that influence the effects of the two policies. Finally, a numerical experiment with sensitivity analysis based on real data is conducted to compare the merits and characteristics of the two policies under comparable conditions. We find that the U.S. policy is better than the Chinese policy in stimulating the sales of high‐end automobiles, whereas the Chinese policy is better than the U.S. policy in improving the sales of low‐end automobiles. The U.S. policy is slightly more effective in increasing the profitability of the automobile supply chain; but, in general, the Chinese policy is more cost effective. The methodology developed herein can be used to evaluate other tax reduction policies such as those related to the purchase of energy‐saving vehicles and to serve as a decision model to guide the choice of alternative tax reduction policies. © 2014 Wiley Periodicals, Inc. 采用地基伪卫星对飞行器进行导航时,由于布站场地有限不可避免地会出现定位构型差的情况,当仅用伪距和伪距变率进行定位定速时,若采用典型的单历元卫星定位定速算法,那么对飞行器的定位定速精度就会比较差。通过分析发现,地基伪卫星导航系统用户接收机钟差和钟差变率的求取不准确很大程度上影响了定位定速精度。针对这种情况,提出了通过提高地基伪卫星接收机钟差和钟差变率的求解精度来提高定位定速精度的方法。首先根据接收机钟差和钟差变率的模型得到它们的观测方程,然后将其加入到单历元定位定速方程组中参与定位定速解算,仿真结果表明了该方法的可行性和有效性。  相似文献

研究了Cyber空间作战体系模型构建技术,提出一种面向Cyber空间作战模拟的战争系统建模新思路,并以此为基础提出了Cyber空间作战体系一体化逻辑网络模型。将Cyber空间作战涉及到的敌我双方作战实体视为一个整体系统的组分,抽象为网络模型的实体节点,实体间的各种合作、协同、对抗等不同类型交互行为统一抽象为网络模型的逻辑边。针对网络模型的节点和边分别建立了基于本体的实体描述模型和基于OO-LAMBDA语言的行为描述模型。通过一个真实战例的仿真实验验证了本文提出的方法的有效性和正确性。  相似文献
