Application of disjunctive programming to the linear complementarity problem

In this article we address the question of developing deep cuts for disjunctive programs using rectilinear distance measures. The method is applied to linear complementarity problems where the matrix M need not be copositive plus. Some modifications that are needed as a computational expediency are discussed. The computation results for matrix M of size up to 30 × 30 are discussed.     

A cutting plane algorithm for the bilinear programming problem

In this paper we discuss the properties of a Bilinear Programming problem, and develop a convergent cutting plane algorithm. The cuts involve only a subset of the variables and preserve the special structure of the constraints involving the remaining variables. The cuts are deeper than other similar cuts.     

A penalty for concave minimization derived from the tuy cutting plane

A wide variety of optimization problems have been approached with branch-and-bound methodology, most notably integer programming and continuous nonconvex programming. Penalty calculations provide a means to reduce the number of subproblems solved during the branch-and-bound search. We develop a new penalty based on the Tuy cutting plane for the nonconvex problem of globally minimizing a concave function over linear constraints and continuous variables. Computational testing with a branch-and-bound algorithm for concave minimization indicates that, for the problems solved, the penalty reduces solution time by a factor ranging from 1.2 to 7.2. © 1994 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.     

螺旋桨缠绕物切割装置对螺旋桨水动力性能影响

将螺旋桨缠绕物切割装置与螺旋桨作为组合推进器,并运用基于RANS方程的多参考系模型计算了加装切割装置对螺旋桨水动力性能的影响。计算结果表明,加装的切割装置对螺旋桨的敞水性能影响较小,在±2%左右;切割装置对螺旋桨叶面压力的影响在半径较小的叶切面上比半径较大的叶切面上明显;各叶切面上导边受到的影响最大。从总体上看,增加切割装置不足以对螺旋桨的空泡性能和噪声性能造成明显的影响。     

可见光成像制导半实物仿真中的图像生成技术

目标成像仿真系统是半实物仿真试验中的关键设备,计算机图像生成技术又是成像仿真中的一项关键技术。根据可见光成像制导半实物仿真的需求,从星体数据的坐标转换、星体和目标的位置和亮度控制,以及在计算机仿真的虚拟空间中导引头与目标之间的相对关系等方面,讨论了目标/星光背景动态场景的软件研制过程,实现了高帧频目标/星光背景场景的动态生成,并在仿真试验中得到应用。

Analysis of aircraft sortie generation with the use of a fork-join queueing network model

This article presents an approximate analytical method for evaluating an aircraft sortie generation process. The process is modeled as a closed network of multiserver queues and fork-join nodes that allow concurrent service activities. The model uses a variation of mean value analysis (MVA) to capture the effect of mean service times, resource levels, and network topology on performance measures including resource utilizations and the overall sortie generation rate. The quality of the analytical approximation is demonstrated through comparison with simulation results. © 1997 John Wiley & Sons, Inc.

用二次谐波检测舰船电场的研究

提出一种测量舰船电场的新方法,即用二次谐波方法测量大轴周围磁场,从而确定大轴电流,进而分析由大轴电流带来的舰船电场.理论和实验均表明,该方法结构简单,构思精巧,是检测舰船电场的方法之一.     

水下制氧反应室动态过程数值分析

为研究水下制氧反应室动态过程规律,基于喷管原理得到氧气流出反应室的质量流量,利用质量守恒定律和能量守恒定律推导出室内物质质量、温度变化所满足的方程式,利用SHBWR状态方程考虑室内压力变化,建立了该反应室动态过程数学模型,并利用该模型编写计算程序,进行了不同制氧方案、不同制氧剂的反应室动态过程仿真。结果表明:各仿真曲线能够较好反映对应参数的动态变化规律,验证了所建立模型与仿真的正确性;与LiClO4相比,NaClO3更适合无冷却环节的水下异室制氧。该模型可以作为制氧反应室动态特性分析及其过程控制研究的基础模型。     

On the aggregation of preferences

The article attempts to show how network theory may be applied to gain new and better insights into basic economic problems. Starting with a precise definition of what is meant by acting and, in particular, by economic acting, we direct the line of argumentation toward solving the problem of how to aggregate economic decisions. Results indicate that network theory might well prove itself to be a powerful instrument in developing a theory of human behavior much more comprehensive than currently used models.

On the inspection game

The Inspection Game is a multistage game between a customs inspector and a smuggler, first studied by Melvin Dresher and Michael Maschler in the 1960s. An extension allowing the smuggler to act more than once, treated by Sakaguchi in a special case, is solved.
